TL;DR

thatsermon transcribes sermons on your device and uses xAI (Grok) to analyze them. ai can make mistakes - always verify important information. we’re a tool to help you grow spiritually, not a replacement for your own study and discernment.

key points:

  • transcription happens on your device — audio never leaves your phone
  • transcript text is sent to xAI (Grok) for analysis — they don’t train on your data
  • ai can make mistakes - don’t rely solely on transcripts for critical study
  • you own your data, we encrypt it
  • free trial, then subscription for full access
  • respect church copyright - some churches opt out
  • no hipaa/coppa/glba data allowed
  • disputes go to arbitration (you can opt out in 30 days)
  • we’re not liable for ai transcription errors
  • cancel anytime

this is the friendly version. the legal stuff below is binding.
